Though named after the village of Pochampally, these sarees are created in many villages in Telangana State.His father Laxmaiah has been a weaver for last 40 years in Koratikal Village, Munugode Mandal, Nalgonda District. With help from his wife, Chandrakala, he weaves a saree in 5 to 7 days.
