Partnering to support programs that empower children We partner with organizations that work with children, with a primary focus on ensuring their personal safety and supporting educational needs. We become part of such initiatives to make our CSR contribution purposeful and extend our reach to create meaningful social impact. • Sai has been supporting Enfold for 7 years • Enfold works in the areas of personal safety education for children and young adults • Empowers children, parents, teachers and communities • Enfold partners with schools, police force, medical professionals and social workers in their awareness and education efforts ENFOLD Leap for Word Kaliyuva Mane Empowering through mental health awareness The World Health Organization (WHO) acknowledges “there can be no health or sustainable development without mental health.” The trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic has only deepened the global mental health crisis. At Sai, we addressed mental well-being to empower communities and individuals to attain holistic health. As a result, open dialogue and exchanges about mental health became a part of the new normal. We conducted mental health awareness workshops at each of our facilities at Bidar, Shamirpet, Bollaram and the Corporate office. The workshop’s objective was to create awareness amongst the communities about the importance of mental wellness, symptom recognition, and seeking help wherever needed. Access to treatment, counselling sessions, and sessions wherein success stories were a part of the conversation created awareness extensively. We partnered with Roshni Trust in destigmatizing and addressing mental health matters. We provided complete support in funding mental health camps conducted by Roshni Trust. This gave us an opportunity to be a part of the solution to this health crisis. In this direction, we would continue to support this cause and address our focus area of health more holistically. • Sai has been supporting Leap for Word’s (LFW) work in Pune and schools across Maharashtra for 7 years. • LFW is an English literacy Program, in Pune • Aims at enhancing english language skills of children in under-served communities. • Works with regional language government-run school • Focus on improving english competency is to help boost the children’s employability and access to higher education • Sai has been supporting Kaliyuva Mane’s efforts in education for 2 years • Kaliyuva Mane (meaning ‘Home for Learning’ in Kannada) is a free, residential, eco-friendly, co-educational, alternative school for children • The environment at Kaliyuva Mane is specifically for children that do not fit into the conventional education system, such as school dropouts, children coming out of child labour, underprivileged children from rural communities, dyslexic children and children unable to adjust to regular schools 985 walk-ins through mental health camps 443 members from mental health camps availed free counselling Supported mental health camps of Roshni Trust Mental health awareness workshops conducted across 4 Sai locations
