Sai is committed to continually improving the workplace conditions and quality of work life of the associates taking into consideration the changes in labour laws, code of conduct and other company requirements by ensuring workplace health and safety. We have taken numerous measures to establish a proactive safety culture in recognising, treating, and preventing hazards at work. Risk assessments and hazard identification are conducted for all the departments and all operations. Adequate engineering controls are provided to mitigate risk and prevent damage to personnel, equipment, or buildings, based on the severity and frequency of risks. Training and communication are conducted to shop floor and all employees to reinforce safety behaviour in all our systems and processes. “Safety promotion scheme” was implemented to reinforce safe behaviour and address at-risk behaviours of associates and workers. Zonal Safety Champion Award are awarded twice in a year to recognize the best safety performance of a zone to motivate teams and contribute a rewarding and engaging safe work environment.
