The process of Kaizen implementation has initiated employee involvement with visible participation and idea-to-action journeys taken up by the shopfloor teams. We received an overwhelming 450+ Kaizen ideas from Saimers across all sites. We are delighted to report that as a result of implementing the selected ideas, we have been able to effect savings and nurture a culture of continual improvement. • 1000+ Single point lessons were implemented across the manufacturing facilities • Total 520+ lean audits conducted in both production block and utility area • The overall average score improved from 53% to 81% in the level – 3 lean audit score • Identification of 20000 abnormalities across the manufacturing facilities with a closure rate of 80% to 90% Operational Excellence to meet customer expectations SFTI - Lean 5S Initiative Single Point Lesson (SPL) Stainless steel (SS) guarding provided to all ANFD’s enclosure corners in production block VIII. Benefit: It eliminates the chances of damage and increases the operational feasibility. Wrong practice Right practice All ANFD enclosures corner do not have guarding, which are prone to get damaged during movement of movable equipment Always provide SS Guards for enclosure corners.
