We continue to experience a positive trend in reducing first aid cases significantly due to the initiatives like shopfloor transformation, safety control tours and condition-based maintenance that reflects in occupational safety & health performance. We report 96% reduction in first aid cases compared to our baseline year. In the current year, there has been a positive shift in the culture across the organization, supported mainly through team-level participation in initiatives like lean audits and implementation of kaizens as a part of the transformational efforts. The upkeep of our facilities, a visually energized shop floor, and organized housekeeping practices are a big win this year. Our new Centre of Excellence in Process Chemistry R&D in Alderley Park, Manchester, has become operational in 2021. We have harmonized the HSE systems across our India and UK facilities. We encourage learning across both centres to replicate the best practices.
