New Medicinal Chemistry block set for inauguration in Hyderabad
A new Medicinal Chemistry block, Unit VIII, is set for inauguration at IKP, Genome Valley, Hyderabad, expanding discovery capacity to meet growing program demand.
The four-floor facility spans approximately 100,000 sq. ft. and is designed to support large, multi-disciplinary project teams. It accommodates more than 200 fume hoods and includes a tightly integrated analytical laboratory to enable efficient data generation and faster decision cycles between chemistry and analytics.
The site incorporates digital infrastructure to support traceability, reproducibility, and data continuity across projects. A dedicated hydrogenation suite has also been established to support complex synthetic transformations.
The new block represents the first phase of development at the IKP campus and expands our medicinal chemistry footprint within Genome Valley, strengthening capacity to support discovery programs at scale.
