CII EHS Excellence Awards

Twin win for Sai Life Sciences at the CII EHS Excellence Awards

Sai Life Sciences’ focus on Sustainability received a significant fillip at the 12th edition of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII-SR) EHS Excellence Awards 2019. At a glittering awards function held in December 2019, the company won two significant recognitions for its Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) practices.

From a total of 174 participating companies, Sai Life Sciences made it to the final two in Manufacturing (Pharmaceuticals category) and achieved a 5-Star rating in CII EHS Star rating, signifying the excellence in the EHS practices.

According to Mr SreeKrishna, Vice President, HSE at Sai Life Sciences, “This recognition is a validation of our efforts from a responsible business practices perspective. The proactive initiatives of our cross-functional teams in enhancing our industrial hygiene & containment systems, process safety systems, green chemistry adoption, employee education, zero waste to landfill, among others have helped secure this very gratifying win.”
